Is this compatibility test reliable?
No, and it says so at every reading. Signs, names and biorhythms have been compared with what actually becomes of couples: the studies find only chance. What predicts how long a couple lasts is how they argue, how similar their values are, and protected time together.
Why does my Chinese sign not match my year of birth?
Because the Chinese year starts at the lunar new year, between 21 January and 20 February depending on the year. Someone born in January or early February often belongs to the previous year’s sign; the test allows for it for every year from 1924 to 2044.
How is the overall percentage calculated?
It is the average of the five scored readings — zodiac, Chinese sign, biorhythms, names, life path —, each rated from 0 to 100 according to what its tradition says of the combination. The age difference and the FLAMES game are not scored.
Which sign is best for me?
In astrological tradition, signs of the same element (trine) and complementary elements — fire and air, earth and water — score highest. In practice no combination is better than another: a couple convinced they are compatible simply reads their disagreements more kindly.
